Account Manager needed at Award –Winning AD Agency.
A full-service advertising agency that focuses on digital content marketing in San Francisco is looking for its newest member of our award winning team – an Account Manager.

Position Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for the oversight and delivery of programs that are on strategy, time and budget. They oversee the translation of business strategies into marketing programs.

Responsibilities
• Learn the agency vision, philosophy, and capabilities and look for opportunities to use that knowledge to support and provide rationale for the work we do for clients as well as to lead clients toward the type of work we want to do as an agency.
• Work with Director of Client Services to identify business opportunities to increase business from existing clients.
• Sever as a main, day-to-day agency contact for the client and be able to discuss creative production and project management issues.
• Help project manage the execution of projects including items such as project scope, estimates, timelines, timesheets, status reports, hot sheets, team coordination, resource request, and other related items.
• Manage client expectations in all client/agency communication.
• Build client confidence and create solid working relationships with agency team.
• Look for ways to add value to your clients business and be a thought leader for the internal team. This includes things like recommending innovative and strategic solutions, providing timely POV's and proposals to clients, sharing relevant industry articles and trends internally and externally, and taking an active role in internal discussions / meetings by sharing suggestions, thoughts, and ideas.
• Help develop focused and insightful creative briefs. Look for creative ways to inspire creative team during creative briefing meeting. Focus on honing this important part of your responsibilities.
• Ensure that proposals, plans, briefs, creative concepts, and all other materials presented by the agency are consistent with client objectives, strategies, and goals.
• Ensure that approved strategic plans are understood and followed by all client team members across all projects.
• Analytical capabilities - interpret results and recommend alternatives, POV's and solutions.
• Lead internal and client meetings - brainstorm, kick-off and others.
• Learn from other team members - especially learn from the Account Supervisors and President.

Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of advertising or marketing experience in an advertising agency environment.
• Working knowledge of advertising and marketing – must have some digital experience.
• Capable of managing clients and being the main client facing point person on projects.
• Experience in planning and managing campaigns/projects in a deadline, budget driven environment.
• Capable of developing good working relationships with clients.
• University degree, preferably in marketing, business, or liberal arts.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to promote a team environment and excellent management skills.
• Superior organizational skills
