Financial Engines is seeking a experienced Production Manager with an eye for design. The Creative Services team provides design and editorial support company-wide at Financial Engines. We are a dynamic and creative team that is working on many new and exciting initiatives. We are now looking for a strong Production Manager to help us deliver our campaign materials with high quality and efficient processes. The Production Manager reports to the Director of Creative Services and is responsible for production and production-design work for a variety of projects that directly support the sales, product and marketing teams. He/she will be hands and support creative to provide targeted solutions and quick turnaround on projects including: online products, print, sales and promotional materials, PowerPoint presentations, Word templates, HTML e-mails, statements and more.

Responsibilities Include:
• Manage 1-2 production designers
• Responsible for the production of online and print projects
• Web graphics for html e-mail campaigns, online newsletters and related electronic marketing projects (including file correcting and optimization)
• Building and updating power point presentations for marketing and sales teams.
• Maintaining new brand guidelines
• Updating online and print templates
• Proofing, preparing and press checking files
• Establish workflow process
• Monitor postproduction processes to ensure accurate completion of details.
• Perform management activities such as developing and monitoring budgets, scheduling and planning production schedules
• Setting up tools and maintaining archiving systems including image libraries
• Adapt knowledge and expertise to fit unique client needs
• Accommodate the daily workload and adjust to changing priorities – be a key production voice on-site for key client interactions
• Ensure projects meet scheduling and quality requirements
• Management responsibilities including conducting weekly one-on-one meetings, goal setting and review writing

Skills/Experience Required:
• 12+ years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
• Proficient on both Mac and PC platforms
• Expert in QuarkXPress, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint, Word, and Dreamweaver
• Excellent PowerPoint presentation building skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to verify the accuracy of a given project
• Strong organizational skills with a proactive task orientation
• Great oral and written communication skills
• Strong project management skills and sense of ownership
• Active participation in cross functional team collaboration
• Work extremely well in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure with short deadlines, follow guidelines and direction, work in a dynamic team environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
