twofifteenmccann helps out the SF Zoo

When the economy is sputtering along (like it is now), organizations that rely on donations always have a tough time. And the San Francisco Zoo is no exception. So they turned to twofifteenmccann for a persuasive fundraising appeal to corporations.

Working with San Francisco based photographer Hunter Freeman and his partners at Sugar Digital, the agency created a simple rallying cry “Until animals can work for a living, they’ll depend on your donation.” Launching in the Wall Street Journal, the campaign will roll out all year long in an effort to attract corporate attention to the zoo’s plight.

Brillant! Sometimes I feel the best ad work is done for causes like this. The two most memorable campaigns from SF shops this year for me are probably going to be this and definitely G2's SPCA campaign.
