DOJO hires Marty Wenzell as President.
Big news from DOJO: They've hired Marty Wenzell, in the new position of President, reporting directly to Founding Partners & ECD’s Mauro Alencar and Geoff Edwards. This hire brings the total staff to twice what it was just 10-months ago and we hear plans are in development for expanding office space.
Wenzell is a 20+year advertising veteran, starting his career with Chiat/Day and Hal Riney, then moving to Goodby, Silverstein & Partners where he stayed for 18-years, managing many of the agencyʼs largest client businesses and contributing to agency growth from $10 million to $1 billion+ in billings. Following GSP, Wenzell turned entrepreneur for the last few years, working for a number of start-up shops, leading business development and client services.
Mauro Alencar, Partner/ECD, stated, “We knew we needed a seasoned professional to manage our growing roster of clients, and to keep our growth going. Marty has done both, successfully, for highly creative shops.”
Geoff Edwards, Partner/ECD, stated, “Marty is just the right person for us, at just the right point in our maturation as an agency. He has the skills, knowledge and experience to carry DOJO forward to our next stage of expansion.”

interesting since they were just laying people off last week...
Great news. I've had my eye on these guys for a few years. They always seem to do work that is unconventional, interesting and exciting in a world that tends to be pretty boring when it comes to advertisements. Good stuff, l am looking forward to what they do next.
Growing list of clients? Logitech, Logitech and Logitech

If they weren't so full of themselves, they might actually have a chance at doing some interesting and relevant work for once.
