Boulder? One agency does not make up a great ad town.

HA agreed! especially when CP+B has done nothing epic in like 3 years.

THis is Bwell from Denver. WHy is BOulder even on here?!?!? Seriously?!?! Denver has much more firms working on larger accounts. a bit fixed here perhaps? Gotta agree with above, one firm does not make an ad town.

Not Boulder. Would you ever put Miami on here? Nope. They don't put Boulder.

Boulder haters should note that Crispin is a late comer to Boulder. Don't forget about TDA, Sterling Rice, Greenhouse Partners, Moxie, Vermilion, Victors & Spoils, and a ton of interactive agencies. And more so than the number of agencies here, shouldn't a great ad town be more about creativity?

If you don't like Boulder at least competing with LA, then you have no idea what is happening up in there.

Agreed. CPB shouldn't define Boulder.

So do you guys have any reasons for choosing the order that you have? I mean Boulder? Who thinks of Boulder as an ad city? Makes no sense. NY, Chicago and LA are more obvious as heavy hitter ad cities. What constitutes an "ad" city in your mind... Let alone the "Best Ad City".

We looked at the cities where the best work was being done. That was our criteria. And then we seeded those cities based on our opinion of both the quality of work and the overall quantity of good work.

Boulder is there because you can't have a discussion about great advertising creative in America without including Crispin. And there are a half dozen other shops doing cool stuff in that city as well.

SAN FRAN!!!!

Take CPB out of Boulder and it's like taking the city of Chicago out of the state of Illinois. It just wont be nearly as cool. Fun topic to discuss though! Cheers.

Boulder may be smaller, but the concentration of creativity far outweighs the big cities.
