Description

Teak is a creative studio that helps brands communicate in a more personal way. We focus on three main practice areas– defining brands, design web experiences for them and building those brands through advertising.

We are guided by one mission: to work together in the service of “better.” We challenge each other to answer questions, solve problems, and create opportunities that makes our client partners better, their brands better, and ourselves better.

We're looking for a crazy talented motion designer to join us. Here's what we're looking for:

Job Description
We're looking for a talented, versatile designer who obsesses about how to tell great stories through motion. You love figuring out how to make something more dynamic and more engaging through animation. We are a small studio, so projects will include some static 2D design, simple graphic/type animations all the way through complex character/object animation. 3D ability not required but a plus.

Your Role:
Enough studio, agency or freelance experience creating inspirational branding work to prove your skills.
Crazy-impressive portfolio of design work across identity, web, and advertising - from concepts to guidelines.
Strong strategic instincts and communication skills.
Dedicated to making things better through design and incredibly curious about culture, consumers and brands.
You thrive in a collaborative environment. This is really important. If you're a lone wolf-type, this job is probably not for you.
You're committed to quality and craft. And you're incredibly versatile and energized by working on a big range of projects.
You have passions outside of work that make conversations more interesting.
You're nice and like to communicate with other people.

Job Requirements:
You are an expert in After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop
Cinema 4D experience a plus but not required
Understand process through concept-storyboard-styleframes-animation
Comfortable with sound editing, light color correction
Are a self-starter who can handle multiple projects with minimal oversight

Our working environment:

- We focus on the output, not the input. All we care about is that your work is finished on time and up to our ridiculously high standards.

- Every day here is different. We work with lots of great clients in all different kinds of media. One thing that is consistent– we focus on doing vs. talking about doing.

- Along with most of the rest of the world, we are working remote until further notice. So really, you could be anywhere.

Make sure to include a resume and a link to your work when you apply.
