  • Hub Strategy debuts film about ocean plastic

    by thesanfranciscoegotist / March 8, 2019 /

Back in November we reported on Hub Strategy's life-sized blue whale made out of hand-recycled plastic trash for the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It stood in Crissy Field to raise awareness about plastic trash in the ocean.

Well now they're out with a short documentary about the subject called “Every Nine Min[Read More]

  • SAG-AFTRA go after BBH

    by thesanfranciscoegotist / January 10, 2019 /

We were a bit shocked to see this masthead ad on Agency spy - with actor union SAG-AFTRA going hard after Bartle Bogle Hegarty. Apparently BBH has now said they're no longer a signatory on the SAG-AFTRA commercial contract. The actors aren't too happy and are calling for a boycott of the British agency. We've heard about plenty of Agency/SAG-AFTRA spats in the past. We've never heard of one that involved an ad campaign and a website to slam a [Read More]

  • GSP proves Marshawn Lynch is a national treasure.

    by thesanfranciscoegotist / December 6, 2018 /

They continue the quest to highlight how pervasive mobile devices have become during our face-to-face time with families and friends.

"Our devices keep us connected, informed, and engaged, but in today's t[Read More]

  • House of Cards: Season 6

    by thesanfranciscoegotist / October 10, 2018 /

These days it's really tough to out-crazy today's political climate. Add in the fact that the show's lead character gets killed off between seasons when the lead actor gets accused of numerous sexual assaults and the bar is mighty high to clear. But man, does it look like Netflix did or what?
