By Egotist / / Big news at Heat: They have appointed a new executive creative director in their San Francisco office. Jason Elm joins Heat after leading creative at Kansas City independent agency, Barkley. Steve Stone assumed the position of chief creative officer across all of Heat’s offices late last year. Before his stint at Barkley, Elm spent 15 years at Deutsch’s Los Angeles office. “Jason has done the job before and has a very good handle on how to foster the creative culture of an agency. He really gets us and I look forward to him helping lead and shape the kind of work of that makes Heat, Heat,” said Steve Stone, chief creative officer of Heat. “More importantly, he’s open and excited to help us define what this crazy new thing with Deloitte will be.” “Take the creative legacy and stellar culture that’s been long established at Heat then add the horsepower that Deloitte brings — you’ve got a modern, unstoppable mashup of advertising and consulting.
