By Egotist / / Heat and Ubisoft just released a new 10 piece digital series called “Tales from the Tomb” to stoke buzz leading up to the launch of Ubisoft’s newest title, Assassin’s Creed Origins. A franchise with a 10-year history, Assassin’s Creed’s challenge has been keeping the excitement going year after year. So, when Ubisoft set out to launch the newest installment of the franchise, Heat developed “Tales from the Tomb.” “We wanted to find a way to make Ancient Egypt relevant to today. So why not take real Egyptian paintings that people have seen in textbooks, and give them a modern overhaul. By animating them into this hilarious comedy series, it was a way for us to talk about the game and its features like Assassin’s Creed fans have never seen before.” said Nichole Geddes, Associate Creative Director at HEAT.
