Our friends at AD2SF poured over countless nominations to choose the best of the best in Bay Area marketing and advertising under 32. This group has shown incredible drive and success so far and we’re proud to highlight them. Check back here for our interviews with each of the winners. It’s great insight into what these folks have accomplished and we always enjoy reading them. We’ll start posting them in November, but for now, you can learn about each winner with some nominating info about them. Congrats again. Margaux Joffe, Oath (formerly Yahoo) “Margaux Joffe is an award-winning producer with over 10 years of experience in the creative industry. She also started an employee resource for neurodiversity, embracing minds of all kinds.“ Otto Pajunk, Goodby Silverstein & Partners “He has been awarded and recognized multiple times by the biggest advertisings awards in the world, from Cannes to the One Show, Clios and D&AD. His work is groundbreaking with campaigns like The Party Safe Bag, for Tostitos.” Christine Singh, Weber Shandwick “Christine is a creative powerhouse, leading influencer, and integrated, media programs for global brands making a splash in the U.S. All while reaching back to groom junior talent to grow the next generation of leaders.” Rahel Marsie-Hazen, D&A Communications “She’s driven and is basically the glue keeping her clients together. She never fails when given insurmountable challenges. Infact, she rises to – and surpasses – such challenges. “ Vino Suresh, DWA Media “Vino leads DWA’s US social team at the tender age of 23. She is currently the office’s go-to expert on leveraging social media for DWA’s many B2B tech clients.” Aimee Bosley, Heat “Strong energetic force field – I think she’s a Jedi. She also co-owns Lash Music Media, a music licensing company offering music supervision and music licensing services and was created based on the experience of working in production.” Clayton Koo, Storefront Political Media “Clayton has worked tirelessly to lower the threshold for an individual to go out and represent their community or make an impact on a local political issues.” Andrew Butte, Goodby Silverstein & Partners “Andrew developed a visual style of his own and created a one-minute short that was screened at Cannes, reminding him of the power of small moments. In advertising, he now directs videos and works to make content for Comcast XFINITY, Doritos, Cheetos, and The Golden State Warriors.” MacKenzie Dusnmoor, McGarry Bowen “She is our digital expert and works tirelessly to find innovative solutions. Her passion to make an impact is most evident in art directing a PSA for the Woman’s March which was an Emmy Nominee for Outstanding Commercial.” Ivan Cash, Cash Studios “Ivan Cash is an award-winning creative director + director who believes in the power of human connection. His conceptually based, genre-bending media projects spark meaningful conversation and impact culture.” Florian Marquardt, Goodby Silverstein & Partners “Last year, Marquardt worked on one of the most talked-about print ads of 2016 — Snickers’ “Photoshop-Fail,” which appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. The campaign was shortlisted at the Cannes Lions, won Gold at the FAB Awards and was picked by Adweek as one of its “20 Trends That Drove Some of 2016’s Best Marketing”. Daniel Pearson, Bamboo “Daniel is the CEO and co-founder of Bamboo, a direct-response, creative-obsessed paid social advertising agency in San Francisco. This year, she won a Bronze Lion at Cannes for her Women’s March campaign for the brand– the first award the Stacy’s has ever received.” Ryan Lundy, Salesforce “Ryan’s design work is consistently held up as the example of where we want our brand to be. That’s an amazing feat for such a young designer at such a large tech company.” Aaron Klein, GMR Marketing “The impact Aaron has is undeniable. His ability to translate brand strategy to creative sponsorship activation and flawless execution is truly inspirational and a skill set that you don’t often find in someone so young in their career.” Nicole Moreno, Epifania – A Love Your Life Outlook Publications “Nicole has done a tremendous job of launching her online magazine focused on young, professional women. She is an active member of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley and Lean in Latinas; both highly visible organizations for professional Latinas.” Bruce Blauberg, Pereira & O’Dell “Bruce’s contribution to Pereira & O’Dell makes him one of the agency’s most valuable, and humble, players. And definitely one to watch.” Michael Reardon, barrettSF “Most recently, lead an overseas project in Southeast Asia–spearheading a partnership with one of the largest private banks in Vietnam. Not many people would have the courage or tenacity to take on a challenge of this size, but Michael thrives on it.” Lane Karczewski, ARGONAUT “He’s made a significant impact on the teams, brands, and campaigns he’s touched. Most recently, Lane helped ARGONAUT pitch, win and produce Infiniti’s next global brand campaign, which launches in markets all over the world later this month.“ Sarah Wheeler, McGarry Bowen “She’s the force behind all things socially & culturally relevant in our office, and her drive to make an impact is most evident in her contributions on the pro-bono campaign PSA for the Woman’s March, a recent Emmy Nominee for Outstanding Commercial.” Arthi Veeraragavan, MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER “Specializing in analytics, her experience runs across media, web, application, social, and broadcast. She believes that all campaigns, big or small, require a structured vision for measurement, incorporating quantitative analysis at the analytics and research level.” Beth Windheuser, Pereira O’Dell “It’s rare to find someone who is as smart, talented, and kind-hearted as Beth is. She’s a talented planner who is eager to give back through mentorship, guidance, and direction.” Dustin Maberry, Salesforce “Dustin’s proudest achievement is volunteer work with many San Francisco charities, and co-created his own program with colleagues to organize and host benefit events for charities like the SF ASPCA, The Greater Houston Community Foundation, and the SF LGBT Center.” Jennifer Chan, NVIDIA “Jennifer develops marketing strategy for Nvidia’s first artificial-intelligence super computer DGX-1, a technology at the center of artificial-intelligence research. Her marketing strategy for DGX-1 includes partnerships with Elon Musk at OpenAI.” Dini Mehta, Drawbridge “She is a rising star within Drawbridge and the industry, having been directly and indirectly responsible for tens of millions of dollars in new and incremental business in her tenure so far at Drawbridge. She was named one of Mobile Marketer’s Women to Watch for 2017.” Jessica Badrous, Goodby Silverstein & Partners “One of the more frustrating situations to be in as an analyst is when the question the client is looking to solve is really just not yet measurable. Jessica’s efforts on the Adobe account solved a previously unanswered problem, creating a solution to measure and proved that Linear TV was a valuable channel for Adobe.“ Cheryl Faux, HEAT “Cheryl quickly put her human-centric skills to work across the nation while developing social strategies for artists like Ke$sha and Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bonnaroo the music festival, at SuperFly. Now in the Bay, she’s honed her strategy skills for the digital world.” Kaitlyn Peterson, AKQA “Kaitlyn moved industry mountains this year by making a monumental shift from HR to Design. Her work ethic and dedication to both craft and her community put her on my shortlist of my fabulous humans to work with.” Harper Bokum-Fauth, Goodby Silverstein & Partners “He currently leads strategy across Cheetos and Tostitos brands. Before GS&P, Harper studied cultural anthropology and worked at the Smithsonian Institute where he pursued his passion for investigating culture and curatorial work.” Sam Brody, 215 McCann “Sam is an exemplary account person, & has contributed to the agency business and culture from the day he arrived as an intern (actually, his unique resume was the talk of the agency). He was also recruited to the Xbox account full time to work on campaigns for prominent video game franchises such as Halo, Gears of War, and Forza.”
