New Film from Even/Odd for Square on Incarcerated Women

By Egotist / / Even/Odd is out with their 4th film in the “For Every Dream” film series for Square. The film is called “Sister Hearts,” and explores the incarceration of women and their re-entry into life. It tells the story of Maryam Uloho who, after 13 years of incarceration (7 spent in solitary), found herself homeless on the streets of New Orleans. Through selling found items post Katrina she eventually started a thrift store that has now grown to a 15,000 sq ft. and serves as a re-entry facility for women ex-offenders. Over 80 women have gone through Sister Hearts since it started 3 years ago. Great work.
