ARGONAUT has announced that it has hired Rob Calabro as Group Creative Director. The appointment marks a return to ARGONAUT where Rob previously led the agency’s Fitbit and Hershey Brookside account. Prior to his return, Calabro served as VP, Creative Director at Leo Burnett Chicago.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Rob back at ARGONAUT,” said Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Hunter Hindman. “He was an instrumental force at getting us off the ground when we were a brand new shop. Since then, we’ve learned a lot and have grown as an agency and, simultaneously, Rob’s creative acumen has developed exponentially. We can’t wait to see what we can do together as we enter our sixth year at ARGONAUT.”
“I’m excited to get back home to a city and a team where every idea is considered doable unless proven otherwise,” said Calabro. “There’s a new crop of talented people at ARGONAUT – it’s a different place than when I left. And I can’t wait to see what it can do.”
ARGONAUT also announced that is has added Robbie Wiedie as a Brand Content Director. In his role Wiedie will serve as a hybrid talent (part writer/director/producer/editor) helping to develop the agency’s social creative production studio. Prior to ARGONAUT, Wiedie served as a Creative Producer for Cutwater in San Francisco.
