If you don’t know about the Letterform Archive, then you shouldn’t even call yourself a creative. It’s been an Egotist favorite for years and may literally be the best thing in San Francisco.

The LA is out with its third book, Only on Saturday, a stunning tribute to Jack Stauffacher, a letterpress printer, typographer, and designer whose elegant and innovative type treatments cemented his reputation as one of the best printers of the twentieth century.

Edited and designed by Chuck Byrne (a years-long contributor to PRINT magazine and Stauffacher’s longtime friend and representative in the art world), Only on Saturday looks to be an incredible book – which you can get in early on via the Letterform Archive’s Kickstarter campaign.

Go get one now. Hell, go get 6 and give them out as holiday gifts to your designer friends. And let’s just say someone in the SF Egotist secret santa pool will be really surprised this year.
