SF Design Week going virtual

San Francisco Design Week will take place June 15th-24th, 2020 as the world’s first city and region hosting a Virtual Design Week. These are challenging times and designers in the Bay Area are rising to the challenge (after all this is the birthplace of the future.)

With the challenges we all face due to the pandemic, this is an opportunity to come together to reimagine how we gather, interact, engage and celebrate design in a time of uncertainty. The Bay Area Design and International Community are invited to offer digital programming, content, virtual tours, installations and exhibits and experiences to respond and reimagine how design can solve problems society faces in this new reality.

The theme Intentional Distortions, now more relevant than ever, invites you to participate by contributing content by rethinking our approach to design as a solution.

In order to achieve this, SF Design Week is calling on individuals, organizations, brands and technology partners to collaborate on launching this years festival 100% digital. Get in touch with them as they work together to create this experience.

Over the next few weeks they’ll be releasing more details and instructions. Contact [email protected] if you would like to contribute or participate.
