More great Camp + King news for you: They’ve promoted Rikesh Lal and Jesse Dillow to executive creative directors. Lal, an art director, and Dillow, a writer, first worked with agency principals Roger Camp and Jamie King at Publicis & Hal Riney almost 15 years ago.
“I’ve been fortunate to work with Rikesh and Jesse for more than a decade, and I’ve watched firsthand as they not only became better, more confident creatives but also grew into amazing mentors and managers, as well,” said Camp. “And I’m proud as hell that they’re finally getting a title that better reflects the work they’ve done at this agency for years.”
Lal was one of Camp + King’s first creative hires almost nine years ago, and Dillow was hired to partner with Lal six years ago after a wildly successful run at Leo Burnett where his work for Esurance won multiple awards and became the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter by hijacking the Super Bowl and creating the most talked about brand during the big game that year.
Their contributions have garnered the agency five Ad Age Small Agency awards, including Gold distinction among West Coast agencies and a Silver overall for 2020. Their work has also received recognition from Cannes, One Show, Clio and coverage from Fast Company, Forbes, USA Today, ESPN and Esquire.
Congrats on the promotions.
