Rule of 3 and Parametric Launch Asset Manager’s First Advertising Campaign

Rule of 3 has teamed up with Parametric Portfolio Associates LLC to launch the Seattle-based investment manager’s first ad campaign in its 30-year history. Targeted at wealth managers and financial advisors, the campaign is built around a new tagline for Parametric: Custom to the core.

Bindu Sutaria, Head of Marketing, Parametric, said: “The concept of what is now being called ‘direct indexing’ has been around for decades, but it has only recently begun to move into the mainstream—as investors seek more control in what they own and don’t own in their portfolios and have a greater desire for tax efficiency. Parametric’s Custom Core platform delivers solutions to make advisors’ jobs easier and provide greater personalization to savvy clients.”

David Stolberg, Creative Director and Founder, Rule of 3, said: “As well-known financial brands move to deliver customized portfolios, the campaign identifies Parametric as a pioneer of customized passive portfolios. In that spirit, the campaign features personalized portfolios named for the investor’s themselves—such as the ‘Dave Jimenez Industrial Average’ and ‘The Built for the Bensons 500’.”

The campaign’s video, print, digital, and social media will run today through December 31, 2020, and appear in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Bloomberg, Marketplace, Morningstar, Nasdaq, and LinkedIn.
