Some Telly Awards are coming home to SF.

The 40th annual Telly Awards wrapped up a couple weeks ago and we’re hearing that SF brought a nice haul – including FleishmanHillard for “AT&T Eclipse Impossible“, a documentary about AT&T, Aira, and Georgia Tech making the solar eclipse more inclusive for the visually impaired and blind, as well as Square Inc. for “Exit 12: Moved by War”, a documentary about a US marine opening a dance studio for military veterans to tell their war experiences through performing arts choreography.

Congrats on the wins.

The Square documentary has 1300 views. They probably spent several hundred thousand for something 1300 people saw. And they won an award for it.

If that doesn’t sum up how fucked our industry and the award show circuit is, I don’t know what does.
