“As society excitedly returns to normal, we reflect on our collective experience in isolation. The past year and a half has affected the way we look at ourselves and each other; we have been existing together, apart. Hueman encourages visitors to look inward as “Homebody” explores identity in the context of an unprecedented moment in time: What happens when we are all forced to stay at home and face ourselves?”
Hueman is an East Bay native whose works can be found on streets and in galleries worldwide. She has collaborated with some of the world’s top companies that include Adobe, Lyft, Google, Nike, L’Oreal, and the Golden State Warriors.
